Xbox 360 pre-ordering fun

Xbox 360 is out in Europe official in a few hour's time. I had mine pre-ordered at my nearest HMV, but had also had another pre-order in the local GAME store.. just in case, you see..

Anyways, was in a meeting at work and HMV had called my phone, but hadn't left a message.. nooo! Called them back.. dude on the line said that the person handling all the pre-order stuff was on break, but that they probably got about 40 of them in. I was number.. 38! Excellent stuff, I thought.

A couple of hours later I called back to confirm the order and to check if they were opening at midnight. This time a different said that I would be out of luck as they had only got 32 machines.. doh! However, minutes after that, I got a call from an Angela in HMV saying that I was the last person to get an actual machine, and what games would I like!! She did mention that the shop was open at midnight tonight, but I wasn't going to be able to make it, so hopefully will pick up my machine sometime tomorrow. :D
